CORI seeks to encourage education, clinical and basic science research and to provide leadership in the field of orthopaedic surgery.
Dr. Xenos founded CORI upon recognizing the need for a fellowship in his field offering the opportunity for surgeons to receive training and mentoring in:
- state of the art surgical techniques
- participation in current and retrospective research studies
- learning private practice management and good clinical practice
To achieve the organization’s mission Dr. Xenos, the CORI Board and staff designed and implemented a fellowship and research program that encourages education, provides leadership in orthopaedic surgery and conducts or participates in a wide variety of clinical research studies. As a result, CORI has become a resource to physicians nationally and internationally.
