Research and Orthopaedic Surgery Fellowship
CORI is a full-service academic research organization providing extensive resources for physicians and PhDs to conduct clinical research in all specialties of medicine.
CORI is excited to announce that we are now an officially accredited program!
As of July 1, 2024, Colorado Orthopaedic Research Institute received official accrediation status from the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
Kevin Kulwicki MD, from the 2024 class, will be the first fellow from our program to graduate from an AAHKS-recognized program.

Thomas Sajda, MD, PHD
CORI is pleased to announce our 2024-2025 Adult Hip/Knee Reconstruction Fellow, Dr. Thomas Sajda. Tom will be joining us in August 2024. Tom completed his undergraduate education at the University of Georgia. He obtained his MD at the University of Buffalo as well as receiving his PhD in Immunology and Molecular Biology. He then completed his Orthopedic Residency at the University of Rochester.

Yitzy Fox, D.O.
CORI is pleased to announce our 2025-2026 Adult Hip/Knee Reconstruction Fellow, Dr. Yitzy Fox. Yitzy will be joining us in August 2025. Yitzy Fox was born and raised in Miami, Fl. He did his undergraduate studies at Florida International University where he received his Bachelors of Arts in International Relations. He then attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine-Bradenton where he received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree. Yitzy is currently finishing his Orthopedic Surgery residency at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, FL. He is very excited to start his fellowship in 2025 here at CORI. Yitzy is newly wed to his love Carolina, who are excited to start a family together. Yitzy has many fond memories of times spent in Colorado and is excited to return to Colorado. Yitzy's passion for adult reconstruction drove him to CORI and is delighted to begin his journey here to further his career.
